The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in chemical or environmental engineering or a related science with a minimum of 5 years of relevant air compliance and environmental experience with working knowledge of the following types of projects: Air pollution projects; New source review standards and permitting; Prevention of significant deterioration analysis permitting; Title V air permitting; Air dispersion modeling; and Emission inventory questionnaires. Professional registration is preferred. Knowledge of the Oklahoma market and ODEQ is a plus. Excellent business development and management skills, the ability to work effectively in groups on complex tasks, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Solid Waste Engineer – Aquaterra is seeking an experienced Solid Waste Engineer to join our Oklahoma City office. The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in civil or environmental engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant solid waste experience with working knowledge of the following types of projects: landfill cell design; construction plans and specifications development; bioreactor/leachate recirculation system design; alternative cap modeling and design; transfer station design; landfill gas system design; and construction quality assurance oversight. Professional registration is preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD Land Development or Civil 3D, Hydrology Modeling, and strong problem solving skills and work ethic are essential.
Environmental Professional – Aquaterra is seeking motivated environmental professional to join our Oklahoma City office. The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related science with a minimum of 5 years experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work effectively in groups on complex tasks, and a strong work ethic are essential. Hazwoper 40 hr. training and familiarity with ODEQ, OCC and Oklahoma clientele are a plus.
