Aquaterra is Expanding our Services
Because a variety of factors affect our clients and their needs, it helps to have a multidisciplinary team to address
those challenges. Aquaterra's strength has been in addresssing client issues with a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving in
the fields of Solid Waste, Alternative Energy, Environmental, Air, and Civil Engineering.
Aquaterra has recently added occupational health & safety to it's already impressive suite of services. Aquaterra
now provides practical, solution-oriented occupational health & safety services that focus on client goals and objectives. A
thorough understanding of potential workplace exposures requires an intimate understanding of the interaction between workers, potential
sources of exposure, equipment, and processes. Aquaterra helps clients understand those interrelationships and works with them to
anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control workplace exposures.
Our core occupational health & safety services include: Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality, Mold Investigations,
Asbestos Management, Safety Audits, Customized Training, and Environmental compliance related services.
We Are Hot!!
We are excited to announce that Aquaterra has recently been named to the Zweig White Hot Firm 2007 List! For those of
you who religiously read the Zweigletter, you are probably familiar with their annual announcement of the fastest growning firms in the
AEP and environmental consulting industry. Well, wait no longer - we are officially on the list, coming in at number 184 out of the top
200 fastest growing firms in the country!
Mark Zweig, founder and director of Zweig White, states, "The firms that made this year's Hot Firm List should be proud.
Even with the increase of 100 firms on the list to 200, it was still an incredibly competitive and successful group. Firms that commit to
revenue growth while investing in marketing, information technology, and other infrastructure are usually the most successful in our industry.
They have shown they have the ability to sustain their success year after year. The hottest firms in the business-those with consistent
growth and success at outperforming the economy and their peers-are the ones that attract top staff and the best clients."
We are very proud of this accomplishment as it takes teamwork, dedication, and hard work to achieve the success that we've
had and receive accolades of this magnitude. There is no doubt that we can and will continue the success that we've had with the great
group of people we have here at Aquaterra!
The complete listing o fthe 200 Hot LIst Firms can be found at http://www.zweigwhite.com/trends/thezweigletter/hot-firm-issue/thezweigletter-hotfirm2007.pdf.
In addition, all winners were honored in the November 26th issue of Zweigletter.
Aquaterra's Going Green
With recent shift toward greener practices, Aquaterra has begun to change the way we do things in-house
in order to conserve as many of our reusable resources as possible. We recycle our aluminum cans, plastic bottles,
paper and paperboard, and even our toner cartridges. We also strive to complete the cycle where possible by exclusively
purchasing recycled paper and recycled ink pens.
Although we are changing some of the smaller-scale practices within our organization, Aquaterra has been
finding sustainable solutions for larger projects for years. Wheter it is designing and permitting a compost facility or
implementing landfill-gas-to-energy projects, Aquaterra has the skills and experience necessary to find "green" alternatives for our clients.
