Whether you are responding to an employee complaint or concern, an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inquiry, an upcoming or changing OSHA regulation, or you are simply working toward improved employee productivity and worker protection, Aquaterra has the experience and staff to help you recognize, evaluate, and control environmental exposures in your workplace. Our industrial hygienists, in combination with our American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) partner laboratories, can help you evaluate the appropriate sampling and analytical methods for your operation, aid in sample collection and exposure monitoring, interpret the analytical results and their meaning to your personnel, and develop and/or recommend necessary corrective measures to eliminate the hazards.
Aquaterra has completed personnel monitoring projects for aldehydes, asbestos, hexavalent chromium, isocyantaes, lead, metals, noise, particulates, PCBs, phenols, silica, volatile organic compounds, weld fumes, and more for many different commercial and industrial operations. In addition to these traditional industrial hygiene services, our staff is also experienced in and has completed countless indoor air quality assessments or “sick building syndrome” studies on behalf of building owners and/or tenants. We have performed multiple mold assessments and have overseen mold remediation projects at commercial, government, industrial, and residential facilities. We have also performed asbestos and lead-based paint inspections for more than 3 million square feet of building space, have designed abatement projects and have provided abatement oversight and monitoring services throughout our service territory. Our staff maintains multiple asbestos and lead licensure credentials in numerous States and we are prepared to assist your project most anywhere in the United States.
