Environmental Compliance

Aquaterra provides environmental compliance monitoring services to landfills in three Eastern Nebraska landfills. As part of this ongoing, multi-year contract, Aquaterra provides routine landfill gas, groundwater, and leachate monitoring and reporting services as required by the facility’s Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality Title 132 Permit. During Aquaterra’s tenure at these sites, site conditions and changes in facility operations have required numerous changes to the monitoring networks and Aquaterra has overseen or performed the installation of additional perimeter gas probes and monitoring wells and has updated the facility plans to reflect the addition or removal of these points to or from the monitoring networks. In addition to these routine monitoring services, Aquaterra has provided Clean Air Act permitting and reporting services to Waste Connections at these sites in support of their commitment to maintain compliance with the constantly changing air quality regulations and requirements.
